United States experts agree that

sensible drinking can be good for your health

Every five years, the US Government appoints over thirty top nutritionists, doctors and epidemiologists to advise on what Americans should eat and drink for optimal health. These experts, aided by researchers from the USDA Office of Nutrition Guidance and Analysis, typically spend 18 months assessing the latest medical evidence about nutrition and health.

Here are key statements about alcohol in their 2015-2020 Report:

“The Committee confirmed..that moderate alcohol intake can be a component of a healthy dietary pattern..."

"The U.S. population should be encouraged and guided to consume dietary patterns that are... moderate in  alcohol

(among adults)..."

What do they mean by "moderate" ?

... or in plain language....
